Grandmother/Mother/Daughters passion for crafts

The embroidery portion of the shop started many years ago when my daughter was participating in Hunter/Jumper horse shows all over the South East. We did quite a bit of traveling and needed something to help offset the cost. We purchased an embroidery machine, trailer, and supplies. At each horse show, we would open the trailer and embroider horse blankets, collars, hats and more. I did this for years until my daughter went off to college. When she left, I wanted to continue my love for embroidery so I started selling online as well as local craft shows. I really enjoy doing custom orders for customer. I love making the items come alive.

From my store, I enlisted my Mother to do knitting, as this is her passion. She loves to sit in the evenings and knit. We joke about her having idle hands. Since opening my shop, she has managed to teach me how to do basic knitting. She also taught my daughter (though we are no where near as good as her - guess that comes with years of practice!).

My sister also creates handmade jewelry.

Not only do we sell online, but we do several craft shows a year that enable all of us to be together (since my sister still lives in Florida). At the shows, we normally had, Mom (Grandma), sisters and daughters. It was our family time together!
